Photokina 2006 Report

Welcome to our Photokina 2006 report. The Photokina
Show takes place this year in Cologne, Germany and runs
from 26th September - 1st October 2006, 10am to 6pm every
day. Photokina 2006 is expected to be the biggest ever, with
around 1,600 suppliers exhibiting from 50 countries, and 160,000
visitors from 140 countries. For the first time, Photokina
will be held in the new Cologne exhibition center, one of
Europe's most modern trade fair locations. Just like PMA
2006 back in February, PhotographyBLOG will be covering
Photokina 2006 live from the show floor. There have already
been a lot of announcements in the weeks leading up to Photokina
(see below), and there will be many more during the show itself.
