Hink have launched a Kickstarter project to help fund the commercialisation of what they call 'the world's first flexible flashgun." Called Spacefish, the new flash makes it easier to control your light when shooting and allows you to be more creative. Its flexible neck means that flash movement is no longer limited to tilting and swivelling the flash head. Additionally, Hink have made it easier to attach modular accessories with inbuilt systems for colour filters and remote triggers. Spacefish has a built-in LED modelling/AF-assist light, a recycle time of approximately 0.8 seconds, and a guide number of 33 in metres. It is currently a manual flash, but if the project surpasses its Kickstarter target, Hink will be able to include e-TTL exposure control on the first model. Interested readers are encouraged to pay a visit to the project's Kickstarter page and make a donation.
