The Epson SureColor P800 is a full 17-inch wide borderless printer with unique Epson MicroPiezo AMCTM printhead technology. Key highlights include an all-new Epson UltraChrome HD eight-colour ink set, an advanced Black-and-White print mode for professional-level neutral or toned black-and-white prints and the ability to print on fine art and roll papers and create panoramas over 10 feet long (requires a separately sold roll paper adapter). Canon has unveiled a collection of new models in its acclaimed PowerShot, IXUS and PIXMA PRO product ranges - the PowerShot SX410 IS, IXUS 275 HS (also known as the PowerShot ELPH 350 HS), PIXMA PRO-100S and PIXMA PRO-10S.
The compact PowerShot SX410 IS combines an incredible 40x optical zoom and 80x ZoomPlus technology in a small-scale body. The PowerShot SX410 IS will be available from March 2015 with an RSP of £249.99 / €299.99. In the USA the PowerShot SX410 IS camera is scheduled to be available in March 2015 in red or black for an estimated retail price of $279.99.
The Canon IXUS 275 HS' 12x optical zoom is teamed with Canon’s HS System and 20.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor. The IXUS 275 HS will be available from May 2015 with an RSP of £189.99 / €299.99. In the USA the PowerShot ELPH 350 HS camera is scheduled to be available in April 2015 in black and silver for an estimated retail price of $209.99.
The new PIXMA PRO-100S and PIXMA PRO-10S replace Canon’s existing PRO-100 and PRO-10 printers respectively. The PIXMA Pro-100S will be available from February 2015 with an RSP of £499.99/€599.99. The PIXMA Pro-10S will be available from February 2015 with an RSP of £699.99/€829.99.

Today at Imaging USA 2015, DNP Imagingcomm America introduced its new DS80DX dye-sublimation duplex printer for professional photographers and photo retailers. At 16.4 inches tall by 12.7 inches wide by 19.7 inches deep, the printer has dual paper supplies that allow for easy duplex and simplex printing. The duplex printing function is sheet-fed with a dedicated media tray for double-sided prints, such as photobooks and calendars. The simplex printing function yields 4”x8”, 5”x8”, 6”x8”, 8”x10” and 8”x12” photo prints. The DNP DS80DX Duplex Printer also comes bundled with DNP’s proprietary Mini Photobook software for instantly creating compact-sized 4”x4”, 4”x8”, and 6”x8” photobooks. The software can also create a Super Panorama 4”x16” photobook, printed across two 4”x8” spreads. Once the software is installed on a compatible operating system (Windows XP, 7 and 8), images can be quickly loaded into the program from a media card, USB drive or other storage device.

DNP today introduced its new flagship DS620A dye-sublimation photo printer for the event photography and photo retail markets. As the latest addition to the company’s DS Series printers, the DS620A is billed as the world’s most compact professional-grade photo printer, capable of outputting up to 400 prints per hour. At 10.8-inches wide by 14.4-inches deep by 6.7-inches high, the DS620A is 14 percent lighter than its predecessor. The new Polaroid Zip mobile printer pairs wirelessly to any smartphone or tablet and allows users to instantly print 2x3-inch colour photos from virtually any image on their Apple or Android device. Approximately the size of a smartphone, the Polaroid Zip mobile printer weighs just 186g (.41lbs) and can be taken anywhere. The device measures 2.91” x 4.72”, just less than one inch thick and boasts a striking high-gloss finish augmented by the iconic Polaroid logo. Despite its wealth of features, the only physical control is a power button which has been seamlessly integrated into the unit’s simple design. Designed for creative professionals, fine artists and advanced amateur and pro photographers, the SureColor P600 combines an advanced MicroPiezo AMC printhead with next-generation Epson UltraChrome HD pigment inks driven by enhanced AccuPhoto HD imaging technology to produce exhibition-quality black-and-white prints with "never before seen" pigment black density and "stunningly vivid" colour prints. Canon has released a firmware update for eleven Pixma printers. The new version adds a security option to the Remote UI menu to set an administrator password in order to protect your printer settings from being changed by unauthorised people. The company recommends that you install the update and set up a password if your printer is connected to a network. The affected models include the Pixma MG7120, MG6420, MG5520, MG5522, MG3520, MG3522, MX532, MX472, MX479, iX6820 and iP8720 (pictured).

Epson has announced that 13 of its latest mobile printers have gained Mopria-certified status.
