Light & Land has announced the dates for its annual ‘Discovery Day’ event. Some of the best photographers in the world will be coming together for this year’s event which takes place on Sunday 27 November at Wokefield Park, near Reading. Phase One Digital Artist Series Workshops
Phase One has announced its first two Digital Artist Series workshops for 2011. These workshops feature high quality, low student-to-instructor ratios, all-inclusive accommodations, and the personal use of a 60.5 megapixel P65+ medium format digital camera, plus access to a range of lenses. New HD DSLR Workshops
Cinematographer Gale Tattersall has announced his next series of master class workshops on Canon HD DSLR cameras. The workshops will specifically focus on the high-definition (HD) video capabilities of the cameras, and their use for film production. Only 15% Backup Regularly
Only 15% of consumers back up their computer files on a regular basis (once a week or more). In a survey by Acronis, almost a third (29%) do not back up their files, photos and music, while a quarter (25%) state that they only back up when they remember.

Learn Wedding and Portrait Photography with Yervant
The Master Photographers Association (MPA) has announced two workshop events with renowned wedding and portrait photographer, Yervant. The first three-day intensive tutorage workshop takes place in Dublin between 30 September and 2 October, followed by a London event which starts on 6 October and runs until 8 October. The cost for the Dublin event is 1,140 Euros while the London workshop costs £975.
