Does anyone know of a good, modern tripod/monopod that will work with the screw-in bottom of a Canon AE-1?

I've used Canon Cameras for years, & i think most tripod sockets are either 1.4" or 3/8". If you have a problem with your socket , your camera shop should be able to order a step-up / step-down adapter. The AE-1 cam is a very fine piece of equipment, and remember, it has a ..........
get this: FULL FRAME SENSOR. ( 24MMx36MM ) albeit, on film, but it is what it is. Now you have your lab scan the negatives @ high res. on a disk.
You see, your camera & lenses are all paid for already, & you can deliver a high resolution disk with fantastic potential.
( with out spending megabucks on digital cams & lenses ).
