Course Dates: 15, 16, 22, 23, 24 February & 30 March
Qualification: 20 Undergraduate credits
Venue: Phoenix Building, Teesside University
Price: £299* (Normally £680.00)

Teesside University is developing a portfolio of accredited courses with renowned commercial photographer Keith Moss. In February we are piloting the first of these programmes with UCPD Shoot Fashion.

Developed by Keith Moss and the School of Arts & Media, this six day course offers the student the rare opportunity to learn how the fashion industry works and to develop the skills needed to create great photography for it. This highly practical course covers everything from people and client management through to camera and post production techniques. The student will meet, engage and work with models, stylists and make-up artists in order to learn about the processes involved in fashion photography.

During the course Keith and his team will be joined by fashion designer to the stars Kate Fearnley who will give a unique insight into the needs of the designer. Kate will emphasise the importance of the client brief and how the photographer must interpret it in a way that is not only technically successful but meets the designer’s creative vision and resonates with their target audience. The course will culminate with a live project where the student will organise a fashion photography shoot of their own. Here they will be responsible for sourcing their own models, stylists and locations and they will present their work at the end of March 2011.
