Good! this is a nice camera!
Do you have the manual adapter? if yes, you can have the manual control.

I am an OM fan... I have an OM2SP...

Olympus "OM" is the system I grew up on and still use today. Despite that fact that Olympus have now abandoned this market in favor of focussing on 35mm and digital compact cameras, they made some of the finest and innovative manual focus SLRs and lenses of all time that are still in use today by many amateurs and professionals alike. On eBay, many good deals can be found on used equipment and many used equipment dealers will have stock.

The OM10 was the first of three amateur OM cameras, the OM10, OM20 and OM30.

The OM20 was basically an OM10 with a built in manual adapter, while the OM30 is an OM20 with focus confirmation which works with all OM lenses plus autofocus with a 35-70 zoom (can't remember the model number for this lens as I haven't got one...)

Recently picked up an OM30 for the grand total of £3. It was reportedly non-operational (the mirror was locked half up.) This is what the OM20 and OM30 do when the battery dies - think of it as an optical battery warning (Does the OM10 also do this? Haven't used one since they first came out - I hated the lack of manual shutter control.

What I want now is an OM2n/sp. And maybe an OM-NX adapter so I can use the really nice 50mm Zuiko lens that came with the OM30 (f2 version. Not quite as good as the f1.8 provided with the OM1/2.)
