I have a Canon EOS 400D, with the standard lens that came with the camera when originally purchased. It's a few years old now but I've only started to experiment with it over the last 3 or 4 and only when I have spare time or during holiday breaks.
My concern is that I'm not really happy with the quality of the shot and my question today is...is it the camera or the lens that effects the quality of the photograph. Should I invest in a better lens to produce better shots? Or does the camera restrict my results?
As you may have guessed, I'm very much a novice.
Many thanks and I look forward to your reply.
