Black and white photography starts before the shot is even taken. In this article you’ll find some quick tips on what to look for to ensure the perfect black and white landscape – e.g. camera settings for black and white photography and what filters are good for black and white landscapes.

All types of photography start way before the shots are taken, starting from a simple concept inside the photographer's mind. Scenes may differ greatly from what a photographer is expecting, but no matter what a resourceful and skillful photographer must always find a way to that perfect shot.

When photography started, It started with black and white technology. The developers found the techniques of making colored photographs very later. The black and white technology has all the basic techniques which a beginner need to learn so this is the best way to practice fro beginners. Black and white photographs look more decent than colored one and require very less work to wash the negatives.

I am a big fan of black & white photography, its look natural for me than the color images(to me). If you are converting color pictures to black and white on your computer, use a Channel Mixer to give your images a wider contrast.
