Some are saying to buy Canon SX150IS some Fujifilm S2950..Reasons :
Canon SX150IS:
Advantages
Fantastic Image clarity
Easy & Full manual controls
Disadvantages
Poor battery performance
Looks not so good
Fujifilm S2950
Advantages
Electronic Viewfinder
18X Zoom over Canons 14X Zoom
Looks like SLR (better than Canon)
Disadvantages
Not good Image clarity at low light
Please guide me which one to buy??? Price of both almost the same....

pro- canon here.. sx150is is an average buy. fairly rated.. it is being sold at a price in-line with its capabilities. You really get what you pay for.

Hi, I Recently bought a Canon SX40HS. It's fantastic! I also bought the Fuji S2950 for a gift. I tried it out and was unimpressed with the finish and optics. I paid 149USD and decided to sell on ebay for 100USD. The Canons are much nicer quality! I like Fuji, however. Just to much camera for the price, so quality suffers. Too bad the Canon has no viewfinder.
