I've refined my research topic and would love your opinions!

Digital Photography is particulary looking at photoshop or other digital image editing programs.

Wondering what your thoughts and opinions are of the technology and how you think it effects the Photography industry?

For instance, almost anybody can access cameras and take poor quality images and just as easily reproduce the quality/reality of them in Photoshop..

Good cameras are widely spread and available today, that's for sure. Every time I walk down the street almost every person is holding a massive camera.
Photoshop is rather a simple-in-use tool to me and it's rather easy to add some cool effects to a picture and to draw.
Digital art in general is usually about using Photoshop and similar editors.
