Hello people!,
Hoping you lovely lovely people (hopefully flattery will get me somewhere!) can help with this question:
I have a canon 350d which needs a new foucussing screen and probably a good service and have a new fujifilm hs10 given to me very kindly by my dad who has upgraded.
Should I:
a) Sell the Fuji and sort out my Canon.
sell the Canon and buy stuff for the fuji or
c) sell both and put some money towards a new camera

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I dont want to waste money on a camera that is not as good as the other. Any one know which of the 2 cameras is a better camera? I know the Fuji has the huge zoom but does it take photos that are much worse than the Canon.
Any help would be great

I have a Fuji HS 10 and I love it

It may not have the full range of controls of a DSLR, but having the range of focal lengths instantly available is fantastic for creativity

As ever it is the person behind the camera who makes the picture - show your dad what you can do with it!

If you have some spare cash I'd say that a good quality pocket camera is a good thing to have

The best camera in the world is always the one you got with you!

That is very true about the camera as the best photos I have taken are with an old 3mp camera I had when I was travelling!
Do you have any suggestions for a good point and shoot?

It's more of personal preference and circumstance more than anything, really. Each camera has its pros and cons, and it would be up to the person to decide which are worth it.
