Ok the title explains itself...
Now some background information as to what I'm looking for:

I'm looking for a decent digital camera (higher end compact or novice DSLR)
minimum 14MP
minimum optical zoom of 20x (preferably 30x or more)
should be able to capture fast moving subjects
No lag (between pressing the button and the actual taking of the picture)
Should be very easy to use.

preferably with image stabilisation
a tilting screen would be a plus, as well as the ability to take panorama shots

Maximum cost: 900 USD

The device will mostly be used by my parents who travel frequently and they're not the kind of people to use a device with complex interfaces and/or lots of buttons.
Subjects will be landscapes, wildlife, events and to some extent portraits...

I have done some research and I'm looking to 2 devices at the moment but I'm open for other suggestions)
- NIKON D5100 as DSLR but I'm afraid it will be too complicated for them
- NIKON Coolpix P510 of which I'm afraid it will fall short

What device would you recommend?
And in case of a DSLR agood lens (with stabilisation)

In my opinion, you can buy Canon EOS Rebel T3i. This is one of the best camera having lots of advanced features.

With that budget, you should go for Canon EOS Rebel T series.
