I have the Nikkor 105mm F2.8VR and it is an excellent lens. However it may be an expensive option for you if you have the D5100?

A good cheap option I use is my standard Nikon lens and macro magnifying lens filters have a look at my shots this was a couple of quick afternoons

If you are still looking, I would try the Nikkor 85. It is great for extreme close up and is pretty light. It also won't break the bank. Hope this helps.
