Dear fellow Instagramer!

It is very exciting for me to introduce you to one of the first formal academic research studies dedicated to Instagram and this incredible community. There is so much to look at and explore, and we'd like to get your input.

In this study we are exploring the Instagram sub-communities, as well as the user's who act as leaders to these communities.

By taking 5 minutes of your time and filling out the survey below, you will be making a great contribution to what can only be the beginning of research done on IG. And best of all, you can do it straight from your smartphone!

All participation is 100% ANONYMOUS! If you know other IGers who would be interested, please feel free to spread the word, post on your feed or share with your friends.

As soon as our mind-blowing results are out, you'll be the first to know!

To complete the survey, please click here.

Thank you in advance!

PS - From feedback we have already received, some people have found some of the questions repetitive - the study was design this way intentionally.
PPS - From further feedback, we have found that some people are confused about what we mean by the term 'leader'. In the case of Instagram, 'leaders' are people who run or moderate a specific community within Instagram - for example Josh Johnson (#jj) or Luca Mercury (#photooftheday)

Do you actually have a resource with the entire study? I am thinking to buy research paper on photography and it looks like I am in the right place to start searching for the best resources of information. Please share if you have something helpful to tell!
