Ok so some of this you may have heard before but;

Konica Minolta currently in last stages of clearing out the warehouse ready for the final shutdown on march the 31st are offering dealers a load of cut price film, so expect to see a lot of cheap 35mm film appearing on dealers shelves shortly (anyone stil using it), and they have over 5000 rolls of 110 cartridge film !!!!, somebody order a bit too much for stock, a lot of the staff were very pi**ed off about the stopping of the Photo side as they found out by people ringing them to ask what was going on because it had been posted onto the net before head office told them< Konica Minolta will carry on making minilab paper because that is profitable for them.

Sony, new digital SLR due out in the fall, but dont get to excited its just a rebadged Minolta, next SLR after that will be a Sony again using the Konica Minolta AF mount.

Panasonic are getting more in bed with Olympus, digital SLR due out shortly but again its an Olympus rebadged don't know if they are going to be using the Lica lenses with it or not, gossip still around that Olympus are in financial trouble and most people are expecting Panasonic to make them an offer shortly.

Jessops, are these guys friendly with someone at the Sunday mail as they have had another recommendation in there to invest in Jessops shares???, profits due at end of the month and if they are like the rest of the photo trade then thats another share price to drop but we will have to see.
