Hi, I believe that a friend has got a virus on her card, while downloading photos, working on them and then saving them back to her card!
Has anyone out there heard of this and will a reformat of the card done in the camera rectify the problem?
She has not taken anything on the card since and is not near a comp to check it out! sad.gif

All I know is thatn when they downloaded their work onto my comp. I had a virus that deleted all work in that folder and then started on others

I would suggest that formating the card should remove the virus.

I would not connect to a computer without virus software even after formating and then scan the card for viruses in camera or in a card reader. After formating and virus scanning you should be pretty safe.
