Hi, I'm new here and I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, if not, please be kind and direct me to the right place =]
I recently got a new digital camera, and it has a ton of different picture options, all the ones I had before were Nikon, and I was somewhat familiar with the picture modes in that, but this is a Sony Cybershot, and it has tons more modes than my previous Nikon coolpix.
I read the user's manual, but it just explains how to select each mode, and where to find it in the menu, it doesn't give much explanation about how to use each mode, I was wondering if there is any where online I could find more about it... I read the reviews about the camera, and they have a little more detail there, but that's not their main objective, so it is still lacking.

Perhaps if you could let us know which modes your new camera has then someone can help...?

The standard DSLR modes are Av, Tv, M and P but I'm not sure if your Cybershot has these...
