I picked up a 2nd-hand Vivitar V2000 which has this lens attached (probably came with it from new), it's a nice little lens but I want to know - am I getting the most out of it, is there anything else I need to know to use it properly? There aren't any little switches or buttons that I can find, just the focus ring, zoom ring, and aperture ring. At one side the focus ring has infinity, at the other it says 1:5x Macro in yellow, does this mean anything special? I'm new to SLR macro lenses (can ya tell?
). Does anyone know this lens? It's the 35-70mm 1:3.5-4.8 MC 52mm Vivitar Macro Focusing Zoom.Nice SLR, very basic but does the job admirably :-)
