When I access the Gallery, it doesn't show a link to upload photos. What do I need to do?

I had this problem before when using a shared computer.
When I logged in I unchecked the box which says"keep me logged in" (or remember me something like that).
I then found I could not upload photos. It may be a quirk of how the site operates.

I'm having the same problem - both on a shared computer at work and also on my home computer, checking or un-checking the box makes no difference.
