I want to purchase a film scanner, primarily to scan film from my 35mm cameras. I currently have an Agfa Snapscan flatbed scanner that doesn't cut it.
I also have (vague) plans to purchase a medium format camera, most likely a 6x6 or 6x4.5, and I sure will want to be able to scan negatives from that one as well.
New 135/120 scanners are costly - from what I see on the net they tend to run from 2.000 US dollars upwards, and that is quite a bit more than I think that I will be able to spend - I am aming more for the 500-800 US dollar range. What used 135/120 format scanners might I be able to find for that kind of money, which ones are good and which ones to avoid? Or should I give up om medium format in the short term, go for a 35mm one, and rather trade up when and if I realize my medium format camera dreams?
In advance thanks,
Bjørn
