Digital Camera Movie Mode

I am thinking of buying a 6-12 x superzoom digital camera with around 5-10 megapixels. Both my camcorder and SLR have just broken and are uneconomic to repair so I would like to buy a digital camera with TV quality movie. I have looked at several - Canon A710, Canon S3IS, Panasonic T7, SonyH2 - and 5 etc but no supplier or shop will display the movie mode on TV. Can you recommend any digi cam which has a reasonable quality movie mode and how that might compare with a mini dv tape camcorder.
