Hello, I just made an account. I'm from Temple City (in southern California), in the Los Angeles county.
I started amateur photography about a month ago (just turned 21), got my new Canon 300D yesterday and am learning the ropes of it
. Pleasure to meet everyone. My photography website, if you're curious, is http://www.cityofsol....com/powershot/. It's brand new so you won't be seeing many pictures yet. Thanks!

I just joined and didn't use a home town - I guess its just a privacy fear until a new forum/site /board has proved itself trustworthy - and then you never get around to changing it

I suppose most people have been scared of putting too much information in their profiles because of past experiences on other sites. I've had some very nasty experiences over the years, but I'm from Adelaide in South Australia.

It may be a good idea not to publish too much information that would would lead someone to eventually finding out your home address. Especially if you've just bragged about buying $200,000 worth of equipment =o)
Well, there's nothing to steal in my house, so I think I can safely let you in on that I am from Midwood, Brooklyn. Due to losing my job 9/11, I temporarily relocated to Stockholm, Sweden in November 2001. It has been a longer stay than I planned, though.
