Hello everyone,

I'm buying a digital camera, but since I'm merely a lousy student, I have to keep the budget low: I won't go above 150,- €. I have searched the net for a good camera in my price range and I narrowed it down to the 2MP Nikon Coolpix 2200. I was almost conviced to buy this camera for 133,- €, but then I saw a 2nd hand Ricoh Caplio G4 for just 150,- €... It seems a little steep, hum? However, it includes a 128 MB SD card and a lythium-ion battery. Attractive, don't you think? Indeed... but after reading the review here, I'm not so attracted to it at all. The author says that this camera is pefect for someone who places usability and speed on top of the priority list... sadly, I don't: I care more for image quality. My question is: is it worth it to go to a 2MP camera? Image quality-wise, I mean... Coming down to it, my question is: is the CCD resolution that important?

What would you do in my case? Hummm? Would you buy the Ricoh? Yes? No?

I didn't see it yet, but I assume it's in perfect condition... otherwise, I won't buy it mad.gif
