Hello everybody.
I recently purchaced a Kenko Teleplus AF 2X MC7 convertor and am experiencing a few issues with it.
1. It states it is an auto focus lens but it is not accurate. When you focus on something in the distance, it will lock and fire with the subject being out of focus.
2. When i manually focus on a subject, even in excellent light, the image allways comes out soft and hazy like it has been photographed through glass. My camera has a device that lets you know when your subject is in focus, when manually focusing.
I am using a Canon eos 400D with a Canon 100 - 400 IS L USM lens and am not happy with the results from this convertor.
Is this normal for this type of convertor?
Would i be better off selling it and buying a 1.4X Canon convertor?
The reason i bought this convertor was to get closer images than i am getting without it, yet if the quality is impaired, this defeats the object.
Any help please.
