I have a collection of Minolta MD X-Rokker lenses. I'm beginning to miss using them and have read about several people who have made custom adapters for MD mounts to the Canon EOS mounts. They filed down part of the spacer on the back of the MD X-Rokker lenses and then used it with an M42 to EOS adapter which is available for very cheap online. By screwing holes into the EOS adapter and sttaching it to the MD lens it worked perfectly, with more fine-tuning by filing down the space so It could focus to infinity.
I really don't mind losing auto-focus and auto-aperature as my XT is semmingly fixated on manual mode and I rarely use the autofocus.
I was curious if any of you have tried anything like this before as I am a little hesitant to take a file to the spacer on the back of the lenses.
