New to printing. Photos not printing very well. Faint lines in my photos and color quality not as good as it should be. Using Canon I9100 Printer and glossy photo paper (Office Depot brand). Have been refilling my own ink cartridges. When I first began, printing was good. If I do need to remove the print head to clean, how do you do it?

First, get better paper. Kodak's top of the line or better yet (tho expensive), Canon's own photopaper pro.
Second, make sure the printer driver is set to print a top-quality photo on high quality paper
Third, try running a printhead cleaning through the driver software.
I don't know if the printhead in the 9100 is easily replaced (the 990's is); but if good paper, proper driver settings, and a printhead cleaning don't do the trick, it's time to replace the printhead.
