i am looking to purchase a digital camera for use with some photography lights recently purchased from table top studio. i am creating a small set-up in my studio space for photographing t-shirts with graphics prints on them for a my website and want to be able to do this all in house. i will be taking two photographs of each t-shirt. 1 main shot and one detailed shot of the actual print.
the camera in question would only be used for this purpose only.
after reading up on the required camera specs for use with the lights i have found out it needs the following
1. custom white balance
2. exposure compensation
3. aperture priority
i would be most gratefull if anyone on here has any suggestions for cameras which would be suitable
many thanks

Nearly all DSLRs have the features you require, so more important will be the lens that you use. While shooting t-shirts may not be macro photography, the depth of field will be important as will the close focus ability.
For web sites, the file size will need to be reduced even on a 6mp camera so a Nikon D40 would do the job, however, you might want a bit more power so the D60 would be better. Both these cameras are limited to using AF-S lenses, the D80 is not so limited so can take a wider range of lenses.
There are of course other makes; cannon, pentax, fuji etc. but I have little of use to say about those as I have not used them.
hope that helps
