HI ......... biggrin.gif

I have recently bought a canon 400D,

I have some lenses from my SLR days, the main one being a

Sigma Mirror-Telephoto 1:8 f=600mm

Can i get a lens converter to fit it to the Canon ?

Am i right in saying i will only be able to use the lens under manual settings

Thanks JABBA blink.gif

I don't know too much about it but it might be possible to use your lens in your new camera. Try looking for ring adapters instead conveters. You are right about you'll loose the automatic mode but I've read that you can recover the autimatic mode if you use extension tubes. So try checking those things.

Good luck.

Carmen.

lsiten now , sweat has nothing to do with the LCD , you LCD will work fine if in coontact with sweat.
For the scratches , try to put some glues clear plastic screen cover like the mobile phones , they are good enough.

You can find an adapter for your lens. I have several which allow me to use my old Zeis lenses on my Xti. You should use AV, set stops wide open to start, focus manually, and adjust stops to the shutter speed you need. Have fun. I have.
