I have heard that the lenses that work on a Canon AE-1 can be used on the newer Canon Digital body.
Is it True, and which model would that apply

Sorry it's not quite true, they will work but you would need a lens adapter (FD mounts do not fit the newer camera's different mount) also even with the mount not all functions of the lens will work, but if you have very good quality lens then maybe its worth it.

I just got a new digital camera its a canon powershot SD880. I really love it, it is compact and takes great shots. It has excellent zoom and it focuses really well. It's top ranked at this site http://bestcovery.com/node/8266 I noticed it also had a bunch of other cameras such as digital slr etc. Anyway, I have always loved canons and I highly recommend them.
