i have read only great things about Eizo LCD monitors and how they hold up to, and even surpass, CRT monitors for art/photography work. However, their price is steep and i would like to know if anyone here who has worked with them would recommend them over other high end LCD monitors. i was considering a few other ones such as the Apple Cinema Display series, but apparently Eizo is better (most notably their ColorEdge line, although i don't think i can afford that).
The particular Eizo monitors i have been eyeing have relatively long response times... has anyone had any severe issues with ghosting? i know most of these monitors were not meant for playing games or watching movies, but i would like to use it for some general computing needs in addition to my work.
any comments or suggestions?

How about Sony - they have a high-end range of printers.
