Hello all!
I am new to this forum and I really would appreciate some advice.
About 18 months ago I bought my first ever digital camera, a Nikon D40x fitted with an AF-S Nikkor 18mm - 70mm lens. I have now decided to buy another lens and am keen on getting a more powerful zoom lens and in particular the Nikon 18-200MM F3.5-5.6G IF-ED AF-S VR DX.
My question is this....
What are the benefits of going for this lens rather than the Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 DC Optical Stabilised Zoom Lens?
If you compare both lenses, the price difference is substantial, so is the extra money for the Nikon lens worth it?
Many Thanks,
