I have heard that the movie feature is not standard on the North American model because of a lawsuit pertaining to copyright infringement. It has to do with this feature though I do not know exactly how, at least, that is what I have heard.
Also, does anyone know if upgrading the firmware on the North American model would work to enable movie mode? The NA model says EX-Z4 as if it is the exact same as the Z4U just with different firmware...
