I rented a Minolta Dimage Multi Scan Pro from Calumet today in the hopes that I will be able to scan photos for my portfolio this weekend. However, I'm running into some tech problems which Calumet and Minolta are not able to help me with right now...

Basically, I am having color issues with the scanner - everything is coming out very red/magenta. Has anyone come across this problem at all while working with this scanner, and would you have any ideas as to how I might fix it? Also, when I view my images in the utility through Photoshop CS, the images look different (color-wise) than when the image is scanned. Any ideas on this one?
