on my mac I have both Quicktime and Windows Media Player 9 . I use Quicktime mostly because it works in conjunction with iMovie . I found that when I added a Quicktime .mov file to my website that the majority of Windows users couldnt see it and amazingly didnt want ever to use it or try it or download it. Any file that is .AV seems to be no problem.
Does anyone here use Windows and Quicktime?

I have a MAC and publish newletters on the web in pdf format with Quicktime movie clips embedded in them for a motor manufacturer - Apple and Adobe have a bit of a bug as far as I know with the latest versions of Reader (7) not working with the latest version of quicktime (7) you will need to re-install the old quicktime version 6.5.2 or offer it as a download and this may solve your PC issue! - perhaps!
