At this point, it's actually doubtful you would have gotten more comments by posting in the gallery. Well, you may have gotten more of the standard "nice shot" comments, which you already knew before posting.

Anyway, it is the standard form of posting to put them in the gallery. You might be lucky enough to draw a comment from Bobwed, who will open up and actually tell you what the picture helps him feel and think about.

Myself, I've always liked horses, and try to shoot them (photographically) at the fair every year. Your pictures remind me of a time when I was a child and we lived on 5 acres of pasture land with stables. We'd rent the stables out to people who owned horses but didn't have a place to keep them, so I spent about 18 months of my childhood being around them, petting them, feeding them, and getting memories.

I recommend the Nikon D7000 or the Canon 60D. Both have advantages & disadvantages and can give you as much or little control as you like.

In either brank, you must go to either of these to get the two-wheeled system.

You may wish to consider a used film camera as well.

Look on DP review and fredmiranda.com for some good reviews.

In Topic: Eos 550d Vs 1000d

I've owned the 550D, and absolutely loved it. Haven't owned the other, but I know it's now an outdated beginner's model which is pretty much at it's limit the moment you buy it. 550D definitely gets my vote.

Hi everyone,

At the moment I have a bridge camera (basic finepix s5700) and am looking to upgrade to my first DSLR...I mostly do macro and land/seascape work.

I'm currently trying to decide which type to buy, 550d or 1000d, I'd only be buying the body since I have a limited set of EOS lenses already. My budget is about Ģ450 (found both camera's for under that).
Is there a huge difference in the image quality between these or would it be better saving the Ģ130 and putting it towards a new lens? (as a student, money is always relevant)

Other than megapixels, what does the EOS 550d offer that is so much better for the money?

Cheers,

Here is a link that might help you with more information about the FE. Short answer, it's a fine camera. When you turn in your film, request a CD of pictures so you can also put them on a computer.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here and I really need your help.
I found my motherīs Nikon FE camera and I was wondering what would be the equivalent of a picture taken with a 50mm lens with a 14 megapixels digital non professional camera.
I have a canon powershot SD1400 IS and I am thinking about studying photography..of course I need a professional one but I want to see how well my momīs Nikon can do (just hobby)
thanks in advance
