Hey everybody, i was wondering if any of you guys and gals could point me in the right direction. I'm after a stills camera that does HD videos (1080p) and has microphone input. I am looking at the Panasonic Lumix FZ100 but having read some dodgy reviews regarding photo quality i'm unsure about it. Are there any similar bridge cameras that have the mic input out there?
Cheers

It depends what reviews you read!
Some rate it as "very good" or "excellent" image quality, and they certainly look good when I print them out.
I have a FZ100,and its a great all rounder, and can be had now for around £300 on Ebay, which must be a bargain.
It's quicker to use than either the Fuji HS10,or the Canon SX30,and,like most Superzooms, below ISO 400,the images are sharp and colourfull, and cable of big enlargements, and the FZ100 video quality is also very good.
You can't really go wrong with any Panasonic FZ series of cameras, and the FZ100 is currently top of the pile.
