Does anyone have feedback on these 2 models? I am looking for a compact point and shoot camera for under $200 with a decent zoom. Of course picture quality is a factor too. The Olympus models don't look as user friendly as some, but they seem to have a lot of punch for the money. Any feedback or other suggestions would be appreciated. Thank You.

Hi,

Olympus Vr-310 has 14 megapixels is likely to be more than enough for even the largest of prints. This large number of pixels also gives you the option to crop your photos. The 10x zoom lens has a focal length equivalent to 24 - 240mm in 35mm format. The LCD screen is 3 inches in size. The VR-310 has two macro modes. These are standard macro mode and super macro mode. In standard macro mode you have the ability to zoom in on your subject. In super macro mode zoom is not available, but you can focus from just 1cm away from the camera.

Olympus VR-320 has 14 megapixel CCD image sensor and an Olympus-branded 12.5x optical zoom lens which offers focal length equivalents across a generous range from a 24mm wide angle to a 300mm telephoto. A 3.0-inch LCD display with 230,000 dot resolution -- roughly equating to a 320 x 240 pixel array, with each pixel comprising separate red, green and blue dots.
