Full Version: Camera And Lens Recommendation
Hi, I'm saving up to by a dSLR and I would love some recommendations on what camera to buy and what lens. I'm looking for the camera to be from $900 - $1000 and the lens to be from $700 - $900. Thankyou
A Nikon D5100 + Nikkor 18-105mm Lens can be a nice deal for this kind of price.
Also a Canon 600D + Canon 18-135mm Lens is the equivalent deal.
The cameras are very good for sharp nice images, although the D5100 is slightly better in noise and low light performance due to it's slightly larger sensor and lower Megapixels.
But the 600D is a better camera for videos.
You may also consider the Canon 60D, that too is a great camera which is a bit better than the 600D.
Those are pretty much what everybody with this kind of budget would go for, but you may want to go to a store to find which one suits you best or if you'd like to buy a different camera.
