Just got by Nikon D-100. The best thing about it---all my Nikkor lenses work with it. The camera offers a lot of options. Would like to hear from someone who has explored the camera and found use from some of the special features.

Just wondering what made you get the D100 rather than the D70?

I have two D100's but have to agree with Mark that most folks buying today would be better off with the D70.

As for good settings to use, my best suggestion would be to hurry over to Thom Hogan's excellent site and order a copy of his Complete Guide to the Nikon D100 eBook. It comes on a CDROM (a print shop can print and bind it for you easily if desired) and is hands down the best book available on getting the most out of your D100.
