I am interested in purchasing a PVP or portable media storage device as I will be travelling for an extended time and want to store digital photos and video. I have done a little research and the Archos AV500 or Gmini 500 look to be the most suitable, however I do not know if they would compatible with my two cameras:

Sony DSC T1: JPEG still
Sanyo Xacti C4: ISO standard MPEG-4 (simple profile) max. 640x480 30fps 3 Mbps Audio: AAC (48 kHz, 16 bit, 2 ch.)

I would like to be able to transfer pictures and videos on to the Archos device and view them. Does anyone know if these cameras can operate as 'UBS Mass Storage Devices'? I think the T1 can operate in Picture Transfer Protocol which should make it compatible with the Gmini 500.
