The manufacturer of the adapter is unknown, but is good enough quality i.e. it screws on to the camera well and filters screw on to it well. And it is a lot cheaper than the Minolta brand adapter. I bet you can guess where I bought the kit from?
Am getting a bit frustrated about testing it - went out walking for the last 2 weekends but was too rainy to even take the camera out, let alone to have any use for the polarizer. All I have done is taken a couple of indoor shots just to prove to myself that the electronics weren't somwhow confounded by the extra layer of glass i.e. the UV filter. Filter make is Kenko - is that a good make?
Will try and test it as soon as the weather improves.
