Hi,
If you're a DSLR user in San Diego, California, we'd like to invite you to meet other DSLR users at one of our monthly group shoots. The San Diego Digital SLR Photography Group is an informal group of dslr photographers who get together every month at a different location in San Diego county to shoot pictures, meet for lunch, and share our images in a web gallery. We have all sorts of photographers from new DSLR users to seasoned professionals. We are non-competitive and enjoy helping each other out with our photography. The shoots have no direction other than just meeting somewhere. Some people prefer to match up with similar photographers, while others prefer to wander off on their own.
As well as monthly group shoots, we run regular workshops on lighting and postprocessing, given by professional trainers at a fraction of the cost of commercial courses. Tomorrow, for example, we're running a studio strobe lighting class for the day.
Our next Group Shoot is on March 11 at PETCO Park, when the Pardres will be showing us around their home. Group shoots are usually free, but there's an $8 charge for that one.
Our online forums are busy and we often use them to set up impromptu shoots. On Sunday, a group of us are going to Joshua Tree for the day.
If you're a San Diego photographer, stop by to check out our web site or join us on a group shoot. There is no charge or commitment involved, we're just about sharing our art.
