I think that any one who currently buys inkjet prints should take a look at dye sublimation printing. The print is on a real woven canvas in very high quality and vibrant colour and depth. The print is very durable and does not need and protection on the print and can even go outdoors on there hardwood frames.The cost for a 20x20 inch canvas to the trade is only £24.00 and the resell value is excellent due to the high standard and the returns rate is zero unlike inkjet prints which are so delicate and need glossy protection. Actually got to have a good natter with someone from the site on the phone as well (A completely novel experience for me-have been going mad trying to actually speak with someone about what I wanted printing and not have to wade through loads of drop down menus on the website)

HI there, it all depends on what you are looking for. Four Blank Walls provides printing onto canvas prints or onto acrylic prints or perspex art. There is quite a lot of difference between companies. Most of the cheaper ones print onto polyester and don't bother to varnish. These cost anywhere from £30.00 to £50.00 for a small piece. If you want something really nice then you want Dye Sublimation which stands the test of time. I would always opt for acrylic as this is simply wow.

Hi im planning on having this image printed onto canvas in size 36 x 48inches.





The image originally was just a small on-line image that i found on the internet, that was only the size of roughly half the laptop screen,
however ive changed its DPI to 2,500 through Irfanview,
and its dimensions to 6,480 x 8,640.



When i open the image on my laptop with 'windows photo gallery' it just opens at the normal size that all images open at.
(Roughly 2/3 size of the laptop screen)


Although if i open it with paint its huge, and freezes my laptop as its too big to show on the screen, plus looks very blurry in paint when it doesn't freeze! :9




If i send this image to canvas print company and tell them to print it onto canvas size 36x48inches,
how good will the clarity be when i get the finished art canvas to my home??


Will it be the same clarity and quality in that size as how it looks when i open the image in windows photo gallery (photo 2/3 of screen size),
OR,
will it look very blurry and crap and look like how it looks when i open it with paint and it shows in my laptop screen at its full size dimensions??
