Hi there,
I have just got my new D100 and I got a cheap memory card with it to get me startet. After playing around with it for a while, I realised that it takes a while to write bigger files to the card.

Which card/brand would you recommend to use with a D100?
Are there serious writing speed differences with the different cards and brands?

Would appreciate some advice.

Thanks
Herve
I've posted rolleyes.gif a link to a CF performance database in this forum at:

and also at:

Hope it helps, (and they are still valid blink.gif )

Thanks a lot for all the information rolleyes.gif

I bought a Jessops card with the camera (D100) just to get me going and was pretty surprised at how slow it was. The next day, I got a Lexar 40x Professional card (512 MB), and the performance is a lot better.

It still take 10 mins to download it to my PC, but that's due to running USB1 over a hub rather than straight into a PC. I suppose 10 mins is better than a week development time for a slide film you send away tongue.gif

CF Database is very useful...!
