Please post details of any bugs that you find in the new Gallery in this thread.

First impressions of the new look to the site seem quite good Mark , however I have noticed that there is no link available to a members gallery through the comments that they leave, only a link to thier profile. ( or have I missed it ..LOL ! ) Also the rating score board may be a little vauge for new members ( no numbers, poor and excellent both at the same end?? )
One more thing, where do we find the option to view and vote for Photo Of The Week ?

very nice. it looks a lot easier on the eye, thats for sure. i like the new profile stuff too. one thing though, i can't quite figure out how to upload photos. could you make it clearer?

also, i don't appear on the user list on the gallery home page. i think this is linked to my previous problem. i don't seem to be logged in sometimes.

I like the changes, much better for viewing imo. However, I am having the same problem as iorek. I'm logged into the forums but not to the main page. Even after logging in several times, it still does not display.

iorek and Crimsonblood, it sounds as though you both need to clear your cookies and then login again.

To do this:

Go to the main Forums page here:
http://www.photographyblog.com/forums/

Scroll down to the bottom.

Just above the Board Statistics section, there is a "Delete cookies set by this board" link - click this.

Then login again, either on the Forums page or the Gallery page.

You should hopefully be logged in OK now.

Let me know if that works (or doesn't!)

wait, yes i can log out, but only from the forum, not the gallery. new users might not figure that out.

When a member leaves a comment there is no longer a link to that members gallery at the bottom of thier comment , only a link to thier profile.

I have also had problems logging out.

Hi Mark,


most of the avatars are shown as "missing image" with a red cross. I've changed mine (not that easy) and it seems that GIF images are supported but not JPG ?

There are also string like this in messages [size=7][font=Times New Roman][i][color=#3333FF] Did they come from the RTF Editor ?

We're compiling a list and working through them all, so keep your bug reports coming (hopefully not too many though...)

I've uploaded a photo to my profile (that is in the gallery, not the forum) that is way too big and I can't find a way to get rid of it. There's nothing in the 'edit profile' screen about profile photos.

Chris, I've removed the photo for you. It looks like you've spotted a bug, in that the forum resizes the image, but the gallery still uses the original.

Cannot upload any pictures. Done 7 will not except anymore can you help
