first, congratulations for the site
but just one quick question! i add my photos to the members gallery but i want them to be classified in a category, when i do this, the image is copy to that gallery or the image is maintained in the members gallery and a reference is made? same thing to the competions! sorry for the silly questions

When you add a photo and choose a category, the photo is automatically added to that category and to your member gallery. Otherwise the Gallery software would not be able to keep track of the storage space that a particular member has used.

It doesn't, however, create two files and use up twice the amount of storage space, so I guess that a reference is made.

So if I add a photo to the Nature gallery, it can be viewed by going to that category or by going to my Member Gallery. But the photo is only added once and only uses up whatever the file size is.

The Competition/Photo of the Week are just two more categories.

You can create your own albums and even make them private if you wish - then your photos won't show up on the main Gallery page.
