Does anyone have or used A Giottas "Innovator" Tripod. How reliable are they and ballhead? Would you recommend unsure.gif

I've not heard of that model before.

I use a Manfrotto 055 - reasonable cost and great quality.

I've got one of these plus the Giottos ball head and I find it very stable and strong - I use it with a 20D and 300mm zoom and get no unwanted movement.
Pros: Three spirit levels, quick release ball clamp, very solid and stable
Cons: Heavy, toolkit snapped off within 20 minutes.
