Hi guys, this is my first post so I hope I'm not asking a well versed question. smile.gif

I have a Canon 400D which is supposed to be able to capture files as RAW as well as JPEG.

I can not find the option to choose the RAW file capture. I can change it between all other JPEG options listed in the manual, on the LCD screen but can not find it within the Menu on the camera.

How do I do this? Am I being dense? wink.gif

Thanks
Jo

First put your camera on one of the `creative` settings,Manual or AV, then press the menu button. In the first `camera` icon go to quality then press set. From here you can adjust from large, medium, small and RAW.You cannot access this setting if the camera is in full auto.
All the best.
Ron.
