how do i open a raw file in photoshop cs? i am in class and my teacher doesn't even know...anyone? i have a canon 30D if that helps at all...thanks!!!

Kayla - I think yu need an update for your photoshop cs - i've added a link to the udpate that is specific to your camera hope this helps --- Paul

Sadly CS 1 does not have RAW support. Don't know if that plug-in will work as I haven't tried it personally.
CS2 is your best friend when it comes to these. If you can upgrade that is.
With CS2 you have incredible control over what you can do to a RAW file. I used it once and I was blown away.

I use CS1 to convert my RAW files. I think the plugin will work.

thanks for all the help everyone. the download did convert the images, but it changed them to .dng files which will not open in the original photoshop cs either. oh well...but thanks for trying!

I would download Irfanview and use it to open and save the files in a format that you can edit with Photoshop. It is free and works great.

Alternatively, you can get your hands on a copy of Lightroom.
